Cuben Fiber Tarps
Tarps are available as custom orders. I can do any size you need,
just email me if it is not shown here. The price will be inline with
the examples below, depending on the size.
These are built when you order, there is currently a waiting list
for backpacks, tents, etc. See the notice at the top of the page
for the timeframe.
Features:
Constructed from .51 oz/sqyd cuben fiber fabric.
New - The ridge seam
and all tie out reinforcements are now sewn and taped for extra strength.
No seam sealing necessary!
A
mini or
small sized stuff
sack is included and adds about .1 ounce.
All ZPacks gear has a one year warranty against defects in
materials or workmanship. Returns or exchanges are welcome.
Note that all weights are estimated and may be off by a tenth of an ounce
or so.
If you don't see the shape / size here that you want, just email
me for a quote. The material width is 54" so the maximum width
with a center seam is about 8.5 feet.

Additional sewn on tie out loops
I can sew on additional reinforced loops anywhere you want. The
stitching is taped (no seam sealing needed).
Some common
examples include:
-inside the ridge line for hanging bug netting or other items
-outside of the ridge line for hanging the tarp from branches
-additional perimeter tie outs
-tie outs on the walls of the tarp as shown.
-Draw me a picture if you want crazy tie outs!
You will have to let me know where you want them after you order.
Price: $2.00 each / .02 oz each
Tape on tie out loops
These loops are sewn to patches which have tape adhesive on the
back. You can stick them onto your tarp anywhere you want.
The adhesive is not as strong as a loop which is sewn through the
tarp, but it can be useful for light duty things such as hanging bug
netting if you aren't sure exactly where you want the loops. These can be
stuck to the Hexamid shelters
or other tents as well.
The color of the patch will match your tarp, not green as shown.
Price: $2.00 each / .02 oz each
Catenary Arched Ridge Line
An arched ridge line may aid in a taught pitch, but it also
limits your set up to an "A-frame" configuration.
Price: $5 / -.1 oz
Trekking Pole Cups
These triangular fabric cups go over the handles of you trekking poles
and make propping your tarp up very easy. They can be attached to any tie out, and
can be moved around as needed for different set up configurations.
They are made with double layered 1.43 oz/sqyd Cuben Fiber and are
very sturdy.
