"Blast" Cuben Fiber Ultralight Backpacks
The "Blast" series of packs are made from a tough 1.5 oz/sqyd variety Cuben
Fiber fabric. The material is difficult to puncture or tear, while
still being extremely light. The material can handle 25 to 30 lbs but
lighter loads are encouraged! I carried a Blast 26 pack on both my 2,663
mile Pacific Crest Trail thru-hike, and on my 2,651 mile Continental
Divide Trail thru-hike. The expected life span is one full thru-hike.
As of June 2010 a padded belt, sternum strap, daisy chain, mesh center pocket, and
other popular options are now included in the price and weight.

Dyneema X Gridstop Backpacks new!
Dyneema X Gridstop is a heavy duty 4.2 oz/sqyd material that is used in some
"heavyweight" backpacks. Each white dyneema
thread can hold over 150 lbs. A secondary ripstop grid is angled at 45
degrees. This material may be overkill, but if you are looking for a
rugged, relatively lightweight backpack that can
stand up to abuse this is it.

"Zero" Stuff-Sack-Pack
The Zero is built just like the backpacks above except that it has zero
pockets and no options by default. It is perfect as a day pack, or as a
stuff sack inside a larger pack. Or you can add individual pockets or options to turn it into a
full featured pack if desired.Available in 1,000, 1,500, and 2,000+ cubic inch sizes.

ZPacks™ "Zilch", and "Z1" Sil-Nylon Backpacks
The original Sil-Nylon Zilch, Z1, and Z2 packs are no longer being built
(except possibly by request). The Cuben Fiber Blast backpacks are the
same packs only stronger and lighter. The Zero backpacks are also
essentially the same pack, available in sil-nylon.
