Zpacks™ Groundsheet-Poncho

Description:

We have taken our Cuben Fiber Bathtub Groundsheet, added a hood and zippers, and turned it into a 3-in-1 piece of gear; Poncho, Pack Cover, and Ground Sheet all at once.

Clothing is made to order. Our new Vertice rain gear is back-logged about 4 weeks. All other clothing is shipping within 1 week. There may also be lightly used gear in our Bargain Bin!

Features:

Three Sizes:

Solo-Plus Size:

When in groundsheet mode this is the same size as our "Solo-Plus" Cuben Fiber Bathtub Groundsheet. It will fit a single hiker.

28" wide at the ends, 42" wide at the center, 84" long, with a 5" bathtub folded up all the way around. (If the material were laid flat the dimensions would be 38" x 52" x 94").

Weight: 5.1 ounces (144 grams) / $175

Twin Size:

When in groundsheet mode this is the same size as our "Twin" Cuben Fiber Bathtub Groundsheet. As a groundsheet it will fit two hikers.

When in poncho mode it is wider (more arm coverage) and longer (more leg coverage).  It is asymmetrical to match the footprint shape of our Hexamid Solo-Plus and Twin tents. That means when worn, it hangs down a little farther on one side compared to the other.

38" wide at the ends, 50" wide at the center, 90" long, with a 5" bathtub folded up all the way around. If the material were laid flat the dimensions would be 48" x 60" x 100".

Weight: 6.1 ounces (173 grams) / $195

Flat Size:

This size does not have the bathtub walls. It can double as a Flat Groundsheet under our Plex tents, or other tent models.

52" wide by 90" long. (132 cm x 229 cm)

Weight: 6.1 ounces (173 grams) / $175

A quick Review of the Groundsheet-Poncho by Steve B.
"The poncho you shipped me saved my butt in the Racing the Planet Iceland Ultra-Marathon Stage Race last week. 155 miles cross country on broken terrain in 5 days. 60 mph winds and constant rain. Thanks so much!" -Roberto M.
"Just got back from a great hike on Canada's West Coast Trail. While we were lucky and only had 2 days of continuous rain my poncho was a great success. Of course I was instantly dubbed the hunchback while wearing it but it didn't take long for all my trail-mates to realize that I was the most prepared man in the group." -Ed M.
"LOVED the poncho on my 500 mile section of the PCT this year... it's one of my top 5 favorite pieces of gear!!! I used it in a downpour at the northern terminus as I completed 7 years of section hiking the PCT." -Sandy B.
